Hello,
I have never cooked or baked with powdered eggs and wondered if the texture came out the same as with fresh eggs. I am also really curious about the taste and texture of the powdered scrambled eggs. I love scrambled eggs and would love to include those in my food storage in the pantry if they were palatable. Thank you.

Debby--I really like powdered eggs. When I bake with them the texture is the same as fresh. You can check out more about baking with powdered eggs here: http://www.cookingwithmyfoodstorage.com/2012/04/powdered-egg-experiment.html This post describes in detail how powdered eggs compare to each other and has photos showing you how they turned out. Be careful which brand you buy some brands of powdered eggs have a weird aftertaste.
